Adam Searle

I was born on 5th November 1981 (Guy Fawkes Night) to Clive & Theresa Searle and I have the one older sister, Sharon. As I suffer from severe dyslexia, my schooling days were far from pleasant as I struggled with my reading and writing and was often behind in class. Both my mum and sister were keen readers and I missed out on reading books but I did have a vivid imagination and was alway playing imaginary games and telling my young cousins scary stories. When I was 11 I learned to read and decided that I wanted to become an author - something my teachers at school scoffed at. Since publishing my first book "The Big & The Little Monster" back in 2016, I enjoy selling my books at book shows, school fairs and charity shows and meeting young readers.
