I am still figuring out “Who I am?” There is no place I consider home. My abode is the beyond the earthly realm. I travel seamlessly through centuries. In this century, they say I am a poet, a writer, an artist, an educator and so I believe them. I have spoken at the U.S. Office of the Pentagon Chaplin, at numerous universities, as well as many interfaith and community gatherings. My narratives are hidden in my books, Journey with the Gurus, Sakhi-Time with Nani ji, Thank-You Vahiguru, Daddy’s Turban, and The Story of Us. I capture verses floating in the ethers and shamelessly call them my own. What flows on my canvas comes from the deepest recesses of my being. I know not what will emerge, I trust the process. All I know is that my canvas does not lie. Life is a gift. Every breath is precious. Every day is a celebration. I move as the spirit moves me and I rejuvenate in the lap of nature. So, “Who am I?” I am a “work in progress.”

Inni Kaur is a passionate author, prolific spiritual writer, poet, storyteller, educator, and painter. This is her seventh children’s book. To Inni, every day is a celebration. Her writings are inspired by that very outlook on life as well as Sikh thought. While she writes anytime the spirit moves her to, she also thoroughly enjoys watching the clouds pass her by, talking long-mindful walks to appreciate nature’s innate beauty, and painting abstract artworks. She lives in Connecticut, USA.
