Little Owl races through the forest looking for a friend before the sun goes to sleep. She flies to see Cardinal, then Chickadee, then Robin, but all the woodland birds are going to bed! Who will be Little Owl's friend? As darkness falls, she meets a friendly firefly who wants to be her friend. Little Owl has never played with a firefly before. Little Owl and Firefly fly off together, and, despite their differences, a glowing friendship begins.
