She Started It All
This historical fiction story is based on the nonfiction story, We Bought A WWII Bomber, profiling how 7th-12th graders bought a B-17 bomber. In the novel, two students are at odds over a history assignment when the boy is assigned US War Bonds and the girl is assigned WWII aircraft. Neither could have predicted how these assignments would solve a 72-year old mystery, make history itself and bring them together in friendship.
