Carrington

In 1971 crocodiles became protected. Carrington now a great big crocodile didn’t have to be polite and shy any more so he decided to have fun – lots of fun.

He chased the rangers up the trees. He sank boats, scared away anyone having picnics, jumped up and roared at the tourist boats until they fled, but remembering his parents, never ate anybody.

Carrington trapped at last, was cleaned up, put into a reptile park, and became used to a chicken diet and being the star attraction.

Overview

Carrington was a baby crocodile. His mother and father had been shot and turned into matched suitcases and elegant shoes and handbags. So Carrington became the shyest and most polite orphan crocodile in the Northern Territory.
