A wonderful 24 page healthy banana muffins recipe storybook with hand-drawn illustrations.  Choose the gender, name and hair colour, skin colour and eye colour of the main character and the adult helper.  This book can be read as a story, or used as a recipe to follow or both.  As you read the story learn about where milk and other ingredients come from (hint – milk comes from cows) through the funny illustrations.

This is a healthy banana muffins recipe for kids to make with NO SUGAR, just the natural sweetness of banana’s but they still taste great!  Educate your child or another on healthy eating and learning the basics of cooking.  Learning to cook has many benefits, apart from the fact that we all need to eat every day to survive – it could be called a survival skill!

Great for children who love to cook, or want to learn. For younger children who can’t as yet read it is perfect to use as an activity to complete together, and for older ones the simple language and illustrations make following the recipe alone really easy with great results.

This is the perfect gift with the Story Antics apron for any child in your life – imagine a kids recipe story in which they are the main character who creates the muffins in the story and can then do it again in real life!

Once you have bought the book and loved the muffins please send in your photos so we can see your creations, we’d also love to hear if you have any tips for variations on the recipe, maybe berry muffins?  We have personally cooked these muffins to test the recipe and can guarantee that it is both easy to follow and creates a delicious result – we have had feedback that the muffins aren’t really sweet, which is true they aren’t, there is no added sugar.  If you find them not sweet enough you can add 1/2 a cup of brown sugar when you add the other dry ingredients.

This book is 18cm x 18cm in size with thick 200gsm pages.

I bought this book to try to get my daughter to eat new things, I thought if she made it herself then she’s at least try it, needless to say it worked! Thanks

I got my 8-year old to bake the cupcakes by herself with minimal help & supervision from me which really worked! The only surprise was that the cupcakes were sour, not sweet. We didn’t quite think about it when we baked but then when we tasted it was a surprise! I personally liked it, Felicia loves sugar so she was eating them with Nutella. Interestingly, the 2.5-year-old liked the book too. Thank you so much!
