Today is an exciting day at Story Antics HQ, we have finished and launched the first two new books in our series of six recipe storybooks!!! This is the series that we launched on Kickstarter a couple of months ago before the Coronavirus got going, unfortunately, that was rather bad timing, but we are still going ahead with the book series 🙂
The new series of six recipe storybooks have been created and curated with Amy Whiteford from Healthy Little Foodies to…
- Educate children on healthy eating
- Have fun in the kitchen
- Inspire a love of cooking early in life
- Use skills they learn in the classroom such as maths and science
- Get them off screens
- Learn skills for life
The Raspberry Breakfast balls recipe storybook helps you create some totally yummy healthy breakfast or anytime snacks that everyone will love.
I made these with my nieces who are 4 and 1 and they both found it really easy and loved making them, as well as eating them. This recipe is super easy to follow, doesn’t required any baking, just a food processor or nutribullet and you are away. Plus they only take about 5 minutes to make. With small children just whizz up the mixture and then let them create the balls and roll them in coconut.
Cheesy Quinoa Crackers is the second personalised recipe storybook in our series, and rather than making you wait a month for it to arrive we thought we would get it out straight away! This recipe does require baking, but the rest of it is very easy, mixing up dough, kneading it and cutting out crackers all fun activities with a delicious ending.
Each of these new recipe books has a child and adult helper in the story, so you can put yourself in the book along with your nephew, niece, child or grandchild. So what are you waiting for? Get cooking 🙂
