Brigitte Brulz

Brigitte Brulz enjoyed writing as a child but didn't pursue the option as an adult because she thought becoming a published author was comparable to her becoming a pro American football player (needless to say, impossible). Many years later, after much encouragement from her sister, husband, and daughters, Brigitte finally decided to take on the challenge of creating books to publish. Thus began what she has referred to as “my writing adventure”. Since beginning her writing adventure, Brigitte has published three picture books (Jobs of a Preschooler; Pickles, Pickles, I Like Pickles; and Aah! Blown Away, Crash!: An Alphabet Misadventure). All three books received a Readers’ Favorite 5 Stars review, and Pickles, Pickles, I Like Pickles was chosen for the 2019 Read Across Connecticut Program. Brigitte currently serves as a Regional Social Chair for SCBWI Iowa (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators). She has also had the pleasure of creating multiple courses and journals.
